Setting alarms
To show alarms for events in Google Calendar, iOS 4 is required.

To set an alarm for an event, go to into "edit mode" and double-tap an event to bring up the editing window. Tap the clock icon and set the event's start time and end time, as well as the alarm time in minutes. For example, if you set the alarm to "10 minutes", an alarm goes off 10 minutes before the start of the event.
